recentemente aggiornato a ubuntu 14.04 lts da ubuntu 12.04 lts.
ora vlc non parte.
nel terminale successivo all’output si è verificato –

Prova a eliminare i file di configurazione e installa di nuovo –
sudo apt-get purge vlc*
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get install vlc
Nel caso in cui VLC inizi a funzionare dopo vlc --ignore-config , i file di configurazione vengono interrotti.
Per ripristinarli – vlc --reset-config
